Is Sloan getting soft in his old age? I can't remember the Jazz talking about rookies like this.

Forget sending Evans to the D-League for more mintes, how about you send him to Chuck O' Rama for a few weeks? The way he was getting pushed around last night wasn't fun to watch :( But we all really like this kid and apparently he's working his tail off

SUPER FLY EVANS!! I know he can fly, but we have not had a chance to see his outside jumper much, can he shoot? I like Evans and hard work always pays off. Looking forward to his bright future. I dont think Evans will ever be a dominant 4 or 5 in the league, but I think he can be a very good 3. When AK came into the league he could not shoot well, but he was a jumper and a slasher, passed the ball well, defended and rebounded well. I think if Evans can do that he will have a long NBA career. If Evans can develope an outside jump shot, than he could be a diamond in the rough! Another second round special!

I like Evans and his attitude, he makes the players excited on the floor and bench when in. He gives tremendous athleticism and energy. I was not sure when O Connor drafted him, but I am willing to accept Kevin did good in the draft. I feel it is a no brainer that he gets the contract. We lost Matthews already and that has proven costly and hate to think the same could happen to Jeremy

Andrei Kirilenko as a rookie was WAY WAY WAY better than Evans. He got 26 minutes a night and scored 10 points a game. You are foolish for comparing the two. The only thing they have in common is they are both 6'9, really skinny and very athletic. Thats about it.

Attitude, energy, athleticism... lots of guys have those. Do the names Andre Owens and Roger Powell ring a bell? (Look them up if they don't) Evans is probably a little bit better than them, but I don't expect much more.
