I hope the players enjoy and appreciate this Xmas break. This I hope will give them the regenerated energy needed to start games off better and also give the second unit more playing minutes while reducing those for the starters. Good luck men on the balance of the season.
I appreciate Jerry's view of life. It is a blessing to be enjoyed with hard work and gratitude.
A couple years ago Charles Barkly said that Jerry Sloan is the toughest guy on the Jazz team. I still think that is true. Thats no slam to the players because Sloan is one of the toughest guys around. But over the years I have seen him lighten up alittle. Thats not to say he is weak, he is still tough as nails. But he has put basketball in the proper perspective. Family first! How often do you see that in Pro sports?
