Chris B's 12:28am prediction of the game is a classic...can't hardly wait to hear the gloating after the big event. Nothing but roses for the Utes from here to eternity!!!

BYU:UTEP as BSU:utah

So long bowl streak. So long conference championships. Oh wait they didn't ever win many of those anyway.

Hello LV bowl. This year and many more to come. (IF they are bowl eligible in the future).

Go Bronco...er...Broncos!

Funny how many of the TDS faithful are jumping on BSU bandwagon, perhaps because they don't have one of their own to ride?

Conference Championships in the last 50 Years
Utah 2010 = 6
Utah 2020 = 5

In 1998, Utah basketball reached its highwater mark and has been in steady decline ever since.

In 2008, Utah football reached its highwater mark in football and now is now following the same trend as its basketball team.

Just like their bowl winning streak, Utah's best will always only be 2nd best.

Three more days until that ends also.

BSU 42 Utah 17

No, silent lurker, you've got it wrong. We only like BSU in this game because of their opponent. We're on every Ute opponent's bandwagon. Go Broncos!

I'll cheer for any Utah school unless they play my alma mater.

Get er done Broncos.

Glad we're playing in Vegas.
Glad we've got a decent record.
Glad we're playing a real team.
Glad we have a shot at staying in the top 25 (or ever seeing it in 2010).
Glad our coach can lead (and speak).

Glad we are not the TDS!

I would love to see Utah pull it off but I really think they are going to get blown away probably as bad or worse than the TCU pounding. The last few games have shown the Utes struggling on both sides.

I'm thinking 54-3 Boise State

Interesting since the Utes have been to the sweet 16 in just the last 6 years. When was the last time byu was there. Oh yeah, like 1981. LOL. Nice try.

After next year when Jimmer goes to Europe, byu basketball will be back to normal too. Just wait.

Do you really want to discuss where byu is trending in football? byu vs Utep, that's all I have to say.

Cheers.

Certainly BSU is a great team. I look for Kyle and Co. to have a great gameplan in place and the team to execute it well. I truly do think this will be Utah's best game of the year, and the game to be a very good one.

Go Utes

Nice spin, but only a blind Utah homer would try to argue that Utah basketball hasn't been in steady decline since 1998.

Bogut and Neville gave Utah a couple of brief glimpses of hope, but that last glimmer of home was extinguished in an embarrassing first-round blowout in Utah's only NCAA appearance since 2004.

The Utah big game mystique in football was destroyed by TCU in 2009 and 2010, and Boise State will shatter the last vestige of Utah chest beating when the Broncos end Utah's bowl winning streak with an embarrassing beatdown on Wednesday night.

Heaps and company are just getting started.

What have U got for next year?

@Sports Fan.
If the Utes have been in steady decline since 1998 what does that make BYU? One win in the Big Dance since who knows when?? A 7-6 football record. Who is this guy? Before you comment on the Utes look in the mirror and realize your Cougars are terrible.

I find it funny that being 10-2 is considered a bad year by some. Is BSU a great team? Sure, they are senior heavy. Can they be beaten? You bet. Ill be in Vegas cheering the Utes!

These are great times for being a Utah fan. We are the envy of both BYU and BSU. The Pac-12 will be awesome and a great new challenge.

GO UTES!
