Hopefully they will be better trained and know that this is America, Not a third world country without laws. There is two sides to every story and not the cops side alone.
Seems to me many discussions here have been towards limiting federal involvement. Here we go begging for "something new." Maybe a consolidated traing center would have some economic benefits, but maybe this should be the lead that States, Counties and communities who need this training should be putting up the $ for the center.
This would be a good project to start the new non-federal funding on. If it has benefits for those offices, why would it be a hard sell to get them to fund it.
Would you support your local government paying a fair share.
Of course there are places like California that are broke, but of course the same thing could be said for DC !
