Comments about ‘College football's bowl-nanza is about to start’

Actually BYU's bowl game with UTEP is more like an early start on Spring practice. Too bad it doesn't also come with a new Offensive Coordinator also. Don't need to fire the Head Coach....but it's sort of Ironic that for all intents and purposes it appears that Bronco Mendenhall must be in a position of not being able to fire someone on his own staff whom he never hired. Now what kind of head Coaching job is that??? It has to be that kind of a situation. Why else would any coach in their right mind keep someone who is mediocre at best... especially in the passing offense department. Bring someone like Robbie Boscoe in as the O.C. There's too much talent on this Young team to not cut the strings that are holding back any real significant progress and bring in a better suited individual. If nothing else turn the reins over to Doman and go after someone like Steve Young as a new QB coach. I guess we'll just have to see how this scrimmage they're calling a bowl game rated 35th out of 35 turns out. Merry Christmas
