Put a fork in it. Okur is fading away.

Who cares, we dont need him anyways

Well, considering that we're in desperate need of some outside shooting I think we do need him.

Lame, and I was pretty pumped about what Rigby said.

LOL Jazzer, we desperately need him, the Miami & Dallas losses were almost solely due to 3 shooting, but the worst thing would be to rush him. It's a marathon not a sprint.

Actually, we do need him especially if he plays defense and gives a great effort. As the season evens out, and teams are becoming more identified it is apparant, he is BADLY needed. We will not know if we are serious contender until all guys are here and healthy. Then we can judge.

Actually, 1-2 weeks is better than I would have hoped. SO good news, after this 4 game road trip we just have to win 2 or 3 and stay with Ok City until Money comes back

Memo 2-3 weeks out according to memo (he hopes)

Jazzer doesn't know what he is talking about haha.

First, you can never have enough quality bigs on your team. Second, he is our best outside shooter and will spread the floor; this could help Big Al a lot by moving him down to his natural position (PF) and creating space for him to work. Third, he is a solid rebounder.

Can't wait till he gets back, but as Bill said, we can't rush him.

We don't need Memo, we are 3rd...4th on the west division already

Where did they get this weird zombie picture of Memo?

Is it just me, or does his face in the picture look like someone just told him that the team president said he'd be back playing within the week.

I got excited about the 1-2 week time table during the Rigby interview but he can't help us until he's completely healthy. We have proven that we can win without him against great teams like Miami and the Lakers, but with him we can have that final piece to finally knock down San Antonio and Dallas. What role will he play when we do get him back? I think he ought to be a backup at the 3,4,5 spots depending on the teams we play.

I love Memo, I think he is a good player. But lets pretend the Jazz had a chance to get a player like Igudala from 76's for lets say Hayward, Memo and Matt Harpring trade exception. I think you would have to pull the trigger, that would make our team an instant contender. The Jazz NEED a shooter to help out on perimeter offense and defense, we need someone to compliment D-Will. The Jazz have assets to make a trade to make this team better, I have faith in KOC that he will do just that, even if its not Iggy, but a higher caliber 2-3. It would be nice to have a starting 2 guard give us 15+ pts, a night. I think this team is good but a shooter away from great. I trust the Jazz management. Keep working hard to make this Jazz team better! GO JAZZ!

A lack of consistent outside shooting is the biggest weakness on this team. A lack of rebounding is the second biggest.

If Okur is as good as he was last year that helps in both areas.

Since he is not aiding Boozer's stats his rebounding and inside game may improve. His defense may also be a little better.

He played better with Millsap than Boozer. He may really help AJ.

Okur is a team player. This year the Jazz are more team oriented.

He can add some scoring to the 2nd team in the short run. He will add a lot of offensive options for Sloan in the longer run on the first team.

Pulling the opposition bigs out should really help AJ's inside game and disrupt the defense.

The Jazz may need to add a shooter at SG by the deadline. There are times when the outside shooting is stone cold and the paint won't unpack.

That hurts rebounding and efficiency. The Jazz often lose those games.

They still have trade exemptions.

Right now the Jazz are dependent on AK, CJ and DWill for outside shooting.

That does not provide enough consistent outside shooting.

I think with iggy he's a really good player who is underappreciated, he's even better with a good pt guard like dwill, i think iggy would really shake up the roster, lets say the finances aren't a factor, its tough to say it's worth it because right now the smfwd is a strength for us right now and the trade would be good for phi because iggy is out of place on that team, but i say give hayward some time he will come around hes working i'm sure so he will come around and i think he can guard the two, not sure i would want to trade hayward but if i did it i wouldn't be willing to give up a whole lot to see if it would work.

Youre right we do need him. We need him to miss boxing out and getting pushed around by Most Centers in the league! Elson is much better on the D then memo.
