I think millsap should be a team captain but from what i saw he was dogging it a bit, by the end of the mavs game he was back to being the millsap he needs to be, but for the three games before that actually since the second half of the first mavs game i thought he was dogging it, now okur is coming back and i thought the jazz were putting the dog days behind them but these last few games kind of make me think differently, still love the jazz but the reality is they can't get everyone playing hard at the same time, i think they are either going to slide back to where they were last year or get over the hump, i know many don't like hearing it but millsap needs to get his head in the game.
As if this can't be fixed? Just start a few different people Sloan. I realize that would freak you out to get out of your routine but how about a try? I would start Elson, in place of Jefferson, Evans in place of A.K. and Price or Watson at the #2. Let them play 5-10min then see if others want to compete. Change Jerry change!
I completely agree with Old Timer. There is some wisdom out there in "The Boonies" of Mexico!
The glaring problem on the Jazz is the 2 guard. D-Will needs help on the perimeter. We need a guy that can give us 15+ points a night. Teams are packing the paint and we are getting killed on rebounds becuase we dont have any consistency shooting the ball. I like Raja Bell, but he is getting old and should be coming off the bench. The Jazz miss Wes Mathews, but you cant cry over that now, you have to look at ways to get better now. I think KOC should look at using the Harpring exception and we have assets to make a trade for a shooter. I am thinking Iggy from the 76's would make us a championship contender.
Time to start CJ at the 2 or 3. AK and Bell can not score early in the game. They are the reason for the slow starts.
