Logan, Rich and Hunter, are three of the finest kids to have played at BYU. I hope they all come back to work as a grad assistant or full-time position coach someday. I know the other seniors are also great people, but there is something very special about Andrew, Brian, and Shane. Best of luck GUYS! Thanks for the memories.

Our hometown boy has made us proud. You're one of the anchors of this defense, Shane. Your the finished product of desire and hard work. Way to go.

We Cougar fans are pretty grateful for Shane Hunter.

"Hunter credits Cougars head coach Bronco Mendenhall for BYU's turnaround.

"Using his personality and instilling it in us, he made us feel like we are going to go out there and we are going to give everything we have every single play and we are not going to quit," Hunter said. "That is what he brought to practice, and it showed on Saturdays. I thought we had a good defense at the first of the season, but we didn't play like we did at the end.""

If Bronco is responsible for the "turnaround," who is responsible that things were headed south?"

GREAT name for a BYU middle linebacker.
