Brett Keisel? Been watching him all year. Not that great. There are 20 players with local ties better than Brett. Must be a Dnews favorite.

What about Aaron Francisco? Valuable Safety for Indianapolis Colts. Has 49 tackles and 2 interceptions despite not being with the team the first 4 weeks of the season.

Is this a "best this season" or "best player overall" or best "best career list"? Steve Smith and Jordan Gross have been to the Pro-Bowl, while none of those guys listed ahead of them have. Smith is stuck without a QB this year, but he's surely still a very good WR. Gross would fetch more in trade value than anyone on the list other than Ngata. What are you trying to rank?

If this is based just on this season how do you add players who can't stay on the field over players who are impacting games... Fransisco, Both Kemouatu's, Soliai, Bush Beadles, and McQuistan have done more for their teams than Keisel, Bradley, and Collie, who thus far have spent more time providing job security to the training staff than support for their teammates.

Do I need to point out that Utah has 4 players on this list while BYU has 2? To put this in perspective, Highland High (as the Utah tie) has 2 pleyers on the list.....same as BYU.

I almost forgot Misi.... if it weren't for Suh (go Lions) he might have a chance at Defensive R.O.Y.
