Auburn doesn't have to worry about Cam turning pro, he's already a pro!

There's no doubt he is the best football player this year. However, it is too bad that they don't take citizenship into consideration when selecting a Heisman winner. His involvement in his dad's play-for-pay scheme is questionable, he was arrested for stealing a laptop computer while playing for Florida, then had to leave Florida while under investigation for academic cheating. Yeah, he's a real role model.

The NCAA has lost what little credibility it had by going against its own rules.

So, when Auburn and Newton forfeit the NC and Heisman (respectively) in a few years, will anyone care?

In an era of "who cares" attitudes by sports writers and media, Cam Newton won the the Heisman. I am only waiting for the hammer to drop in 3 or 4 years when we truly find out that he indeed was involved in trying to peddle himself. We all loved "Reggie" didn't we? Now his trophy has been taken from him and we all think a lot less of Reggie Bush. If the father did try to peddle his son, you can bet the son, knew about it. It's only a matter of time and his will be pulled from his hands as well. To bad the runner-ups in both cases will be the big losers.
