Wow, that's scary, I hope it never happens to me. This crash isn't to farfrom where I live. I didn't see it though.
For the safety and information of everyone concerned. There are minimums as the jet observed for every insturment landing and alternate airports available which are usually pre selected. Without an insturment rating and the expetrience to back it up, making such an approach is next to impossible.
Hoepfully the pilot will have a quick and successful recovery. Our prayers are with him.
