Bring on the excuses!

So long bowl streak.

You have to play a real team in a bowl game.

That has only happened one other time for utah.

That Alabama win was a decent one but BSU ain't no Alabama.

Leaving the MWC couldn't come any sooner for BYU and Utah. Their bowl opponents are, shall we say, unfortunate. BYU will manhandle UTEP while Washington will play Nebraska AGAIN this year. (First game: Huskers 56-21 in Seattle.) Washington, a team with the same record as BYU, will earn much more than the Cougars.

Utah, on the other hand, will be another door mat on BSU's nearly unblemished schedule.

May next year be better!

I might watch this one.

Go Broncos.

Well, nobody on this page cares, but I will be cheering for the broncos! Kellen Moore is a local boy.

But good luck utes! You are fortunate to have received such an opponent. In the past you have known what to do with opportunities like this.

I fear a butt kicking of epic proportions. Boise State is talented and angry. Utah will be wishing they were playing TCU again by the end of the first half.

I am true blue, but I will definitely be watching and cheering for the Utes. However, I am afraid Utah is in for a very long night against the Broncos. The key is to put LOTS of pressure on Kellen Moore and beat him to a pulp (knock-downs, sacks, hurries, etc.) early in the game. If he has time, the lights will go out for the Utes.

This game could get ugly fast.

R.I.P. Utah, enjoy the PAC-12.

In some ways I feel bad for the Utes.

Go Big Blue!!!

Alabama this Alabama that.

Lightning doesn't strick twice. Utes do not deserve such an opponent this year. Utah will be glad to be leaving the MWC after the beating they receive from the Broncos.

Go Smurf Blue!!!

Dear Santa,

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

It's what I've wanted all season, 'The Ute Las Vegas Bowl Game, Collector's Edition'.

This one is fun to watch or play... even if you lose!

Don't be so quick to count Utah out quite yet... Boise State is an extremely talented team and will no doubt put up an awesome game.

Boise could blow Utah out, but I don't think that will be the case.

You have to remember (besides TCU, and Notre Dame) Utah shows up for big games. Remember Alabama anyone?

This will be a great game for anyone who watches.

GO UTES!!!

Oh boy this is going to be fun! And funny! Prepare your excuses utes I cannot wait to watch your "top 5 Rose Bowl playing national championship contending" joke of a team get pummeled mericlously. LOL

It appears that the eyes of the nation will be on the Utes for a second time this year. Utes vs. Broncos will have a lot of national interest I think.

The Utes will need to win in order to keep their top 25 ranking. It will be interesting to see what the Ute faithful will predict as the final outcome of this bowl match-up.

Kyle will have his players ready, but will it be enough?

I remember similar comments two years ago leading up the the Sugar Bowl, and we all know how that turned out. No one gave them a chance, and most of the comments sounded a lot like the ones above. I, for one, won't be betting against Utah in this one.

BYU should have an easy time with a mediocre UTEP team.

I'm a diehard BYU fan and have always been grossed out by Utah...but Boise State sets my teeth on edge (gotta be the blue turf). I hope Utah wipes them out.

The way I see it, this is a preview of the Las Vegas bowl match-ups that we'll be seeing for years to come:

utah (as #5 in the Pac-10) vs. BSU (as MWC champions).

Get used to the beat-downs utes!

If we knew a few months ago the utes were to play Boise State in a bowl game, we could have thought a a national championship.

I wonder if Cris B. is going to this game? Will hedgehog cheer on his utes. Had the utes played the cougar schedule--would they have beaten Florida State or Nevada?

I feel sorry for the Utes.. They've escaped embarassment for most of the season and a few lucky bounces helped them recover and eke out a win against BYU. But it will take more than luck to beat a talented BSU team this year.

The Utah team that faced Alabama was light years better than this Utah team that was destroyed by TCU, was rocked by Notre Dame, and was lucky to escape losses against SDSU and BYU.

I don't see how Utah gets out of this without losing by at least two touchdowns. What is the early point spread?
