As we have seen against the top 2 teams record wise in the West is an issue the Jazz are going to have to solve. We are going to have to get by SA and Dallas along with of course the Lakers.'
Against taller front lines, we have to run. Magic teams used to run after even made baskets with LA. You cannot use 20-22 seconds per possession and be tentative against a strong 1.2 court Defense.
D Williams, read my lips. With three minutes left in the game and down 15 points, you DO NOT walk the ball down the court. At that point in the game, three minutes is more critical than 24 seconds. You apparently know what you are doing and the coach apparently approves, but it just gives the opposing team the appearance that you have given up, which was true last night. At least look like there is still life out there. The bench always looks more alive than the starters.
I would suggest that the only time walking is appropriate is when you are killing the clock which means you have the game in the bag.
