The Jazz keep on rolling.
Not comforting that none of the Jazz bigs could defend Griffin. And not comforting to imagine what the result might have been if Kaman and Davis had been playing.
Still, a win is a win, and 13-5 is looking good!

I wouldn't worry too much about it, not many teams slow Griffin down.
Elson did a pretty good job against him. Got a sweet steal and then trucked down the court for the score.
It looked like the old Jazz in the first half. I was paranoid because the last couple years I have seen in person 2 of the worst Jazz games at Staples and this started similar. At least on D. No guarding of 3s, penetration at will. Thanks the offense kept the game in reason at least until the end of the 1st half. Griffin is a stud and Rookie of the Year, he is just too big for our guys and he can elevate. He is ferocious and big Millie and AJ too short. AJ appears to be a good inch inch and half shorter at 6'9 (no way 6-10).
Last year we lose this game but this team has more grit. Much more defensive intensity and Sloan timimg to switch to a zone was effective. The Clops appeared to not know how to attack a zone and no ball reversals. DWIL great again. AJ got hot in the 3rd, then CJ and AK supplemented with Paul.
Off the bench, FES did great going 2-2. Watson was excellent. Elson tonight was tremendous. Assist, then on 2 on 1 finishing with no look type shot
The tendency to fall behind will eventually haunt this team. No doubt about it.
Deseret News has become boring. It used to be exciting on here. Now you can only post twice, Todd doesn't say much, Magness is gone and Houdini isn't Houdini.........
All I can say is bring back the good ol days!!
CJ: I agree with you. We might need Jimmy's Sneakers back and Todd has become way too conciliatory. I think he has had a lobotomy or Invasion of the body snatchers.
I am not critical until I have to be, Magnus has been gone 2 years. Believe me, I will have chances. I am just being more selective, because i agree the Sloanaholic stuff was overdone. I will never love Jerry I assure you. However, in fairness he is coaching like a Hall of Famer. This group of humble soldiers has given me more trust in my team again, and it is more stress free as Captain would say that is how you live a longer life.
Now lets go beat on Scotty Skiles, ANdy Boguts Milwaukee Bucks
