    How much of this increase in spending is inflation related? Because of the world economy inflation has become a major factor in retail profits from year to year. Every year inflation takes a big chunk out of bottom line profits.

    The reality may be that with inflation, dollar devaluation, retailers lost money and this story is fictitious tripe. It is very easy to make numbers create false hope in a disastrous economy.

    Studies, economist, charts, graphs, and numbers have little meaning anymore, its all meant to deceive.
