Utah's offense stunk it up, but Utah found a way to win! YEAAAAAAAAAA.

Good win Utah. My cougars did better than I thought they would. You win some and lose some. Another classic.

All around was a very good game to watch. I wish Bradley could have put both hands on the ball after the interception.

I hope Utah does well in the PAC 10 and BYU improves with their endeavor. Lots of young players for BYU to watch next year. We need a consistent RB. Heaps looked very good.

Great play by the U defense on the final kick, by that point the U won the game. That being said, the last touchdown by the U should never have occurred. Bad call by the refs. Honestly, far and away that was THE worst call by any ref or officiating crew of the year.

Great game by Utah & BYU. Poor last minute play calling by Offensive Coord.....moved ball down the field and then quit....thanks. Mtn. Conf. officals missed several key calls again...........

Another classic in the books. And although some fringe Y fans will come on here claiming foul by the refs, etc, this game belongs to Utah.

And for the Utes rebuttal, they don't need to go back to the SDSU game. In Lavell Edwards last game, BYU fumbled and Utah recovered but the refs missed the call (before replay was used). BYU went on to score on that possession winning at the last moment. Game to BYU.

This game is Utah's and the replay could not reverse the call.

GO UTES!

Bitter sweet victory for the U. Sadly, it's based on a fumble that really wasn't made by BYU's defense, but you take what you can get.

I guess we can't be cocky about this victory.

Well, all you Utah fans who complained so vociferously about BYU being the beneficiary of bad calls by the officials in previous games, I hope you are happy. The Utes got both their touchdowns because of bad calls. First, they failed to call offensive pass interference on the TD pass, then the replay officials blew it on the supposed Bradley fumble. Enjoy the tainted victory.

Great play by Burton coming off the end for the block. That was a horrible call by the refs on the non-fumble. There are always bad calls that go both ways but that one was horrible. The instant replay officials in the MWC have likely blown 2 games. SDSU was robbed against BYU and BYU against Utah. Those kind of calls taint wins. Good for all of us to remember it is just a game. Congrats to the Cougars on showing heart this season after the USU loss. And Jake Heaps is awesome, should bode well for the future.

The Utes couldn't do it by themselves.
It took a very dishonest call by the officials. That was no fumble after the interception and everybody knows it. The replays prove it. The officials should be ashamed of themselves.

Agreed the stripes stole the game from BYU. But on the punt, how can a BYU player not know where the ball is? Rule one: keep your eye on the ball.

WOW. This game never disappoints. It is always down to the wire. Congratulations to the Utes.

I have to say that I love what Bronco has done with our Defense. They are a completely different squad than the one we saw in the beginning of this season. Love the Bronc. I am looking forward to seeing what we can do next year. Good luck to my Cougs in the bowl game ... where ever that my be.

Bad call taking points off to go for it, but I still think BYU deserved to win and the refs took it from them.

Mostly I'm frustrated with the Ute player who shoved Mitch Payne after the game. Seriously!! Go up and shove the kicker after you just blocked his kick to win the game???????

I will never blame Max Hall for saying what he did even if it wasn't a classy thing to do. Very poor sportsmanship by the Utes today.

I'm proud of the Cougars and disappointed in the Utes.

Psyched for next year! Go COUGS!!

Hope the Utes have fun with Wynn.

I guess it's appropriate that our last rivalry game is stolen on a clearly wrong call...this whole rivalry things just gets better & better, and just when every newspaper in town tries to calm it down, it gets gasoline poured on it.

Logan was obviously down before he was stripped, and everybody knows it. Utah never should have gotten that TD. Do I blame the players? Not at all...they played hard, and congrats on their win. I just wish the best team had actually won only because of their football play, and not tainted by an obviously blown call that won the game for one side.

Regardless, hats off to the Utes on their hard-won win.

NOW we know. Utah is 1 point better than BYU this year.

And that is all that can be said.

My congratulations to both teams for a very exciting game. I guess we shouldn't be surprised that this would be a defensive struggle and that the game would be decided on a defensive play.

I'm glad we won. I'm glad we are going to the PAC-12, but I speak from the heart when I say I'm going to miss the rivalry and I'm going to miss having our cousins from the team down south being in the same conference with us. Maybe one day we'll both play in the Rose Bowl for a National Championship. Then we'll show the nation some serious football! My prediction by the way is 34-31.

Best of luck Cougars.

A Ute Fan.

Robert Anai and Bronco Mendenhall must go!!! These guys just have to be among the worst coaches out there. Anai's play calling is just ridiculous, and to have such a great resource like Heaps and not leverage him so much more, is just plain irresponsible. Just turn off the mics, put away the clipboards, and let these kids play, for crying out loud!!! I'm so impressed with Heaps and the BYU talent this year, and it certainly wasn't for lack of talent that BYU struggled.

Horrible officiating, BYU didn't loose the game the officials did, that fumble was not a fumble, he was easily down after getting the pick. BYU wins if the call is overturned, I can't believe how obvious it was.
