This theory, which some consider to be fact, has been around for decades - nothing new here. However the spin to this story, well-demonstrated by a couple of quotes:
- People "couldn't have done the whole job," and
- As in millennia past, Sergey Zimov believes hunting is a problem today, and
- "I say let's stop the poaching. Let's give freedom for animals."
is a bit unrealistic and not well thought out. So this scientist would have the carnivores of the world propogate unchecked and ultimately wreak havoc on all earth's other living biota?
