I am glad it took a movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 that washes over the popular culture in Utah, and it's something that deeply penetrates theit no so popular culture with the rest of the planet. Even if it's adding to their well tucked under a wing in their "sheltered life," the media blitz still was pre-release controversy that the PG-13 film contains a "nude" scene. While no "private parts" are shown, in a wicked vision one character sees Harry and friend embracing while possibly naked and then kissing. Now they can get more idea's in Utah as this movie also contains some sequences of intense action violence to. So show up with your "magic wand" wearing a pointy hat, and be in character, watch the black magic spells, and have "FUN", after all, you paid for it so why not enjoy it to?. Have a happy turkey day also.

I guess the $24 million the movie brought could have been more if it didn't have the pronographic 'nude' scene?

The movie is doing phenominal. As it should. Regardless of agenda.

Reply: Sunday is a day of rest. Then you'll have to but it on VHS or DVD when that comes out. In spite of the billions of dollars grossed by the "Harry Potter" film franchise and the book series it's based on, the obsessive disorder devotion of Utah fans, the endless merchandise, blogs and so forth, the wizard series is coming to an end. For real. Are you sad to see the "Harry Potter" franchise ending?. Daniel Radcliffe, 21, has spent nearly half his life as a movie star since he was first cast as Harry Potter a decade ago. The Briton is now a multi-millionaire and famous the world over after the eight-movie series turned into one of the biggest film franchises in cinema history. He thinks 10 years is a long time to spend with one character, said Harry Potter, he wont play the wizard no more. Maybe the Harry Potter and Utah Twilight gangs can't play nice after all?.

As the writer points out, its PG13, so obviously it isn't for young kids. Controversy? How about the controversy that parents aren't concerned for content except skin? As I posted elsewhere, its a bit boring in the middle.

I don't enjoy how people are making a big deal out of the so-called "dark scenes". Listen to the MPAA. It's rated PG 13. Think twice before taking your little kids. Let the rest of us enjoy it.
