Wesley agreed.
"Any game you lose like this hurts," he said. "I mean whether it is BYU or not, it's a game we could have won, so it hurts a little bit more. If we had gotten blown out maybe it wouldn't have hurt so much."

Come on Tai. You're not the Utes. Blowouts hurt, until you get used to them.
You're a stud inside, and will have a great year.
Good luck on your season.
Logan State banished to that little town.
re: y4lyfe
And byu is banished to the wcc. Enhoy playing in gyms that hold just over 3000 people.
re: onewhoblows
Spokane, Los Angeles, Malibu, Portland, Moraga, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Provo...all better than Logan.
Oh, and Marriott Center > Spectrum.
Classy comments from Coach Morrill and Tai Wesley. USU is a class program.
Some not so classy comments from fans above.
Go Cougars
We always appreciate the concern for the future of the BYU program; especially when it comes from the Y haters.
As a season ticket holder for FB and BB, I can say that I am thrilled with the changes and look forward to next year.
As to this article. Yes, USU hurt themselves by shooting poorly at the free throw line. At the same time the Y had a very poor shooting game missing a multitude of wide open shots. We shot at least 10% below average. Meanwhile, Green comes off the bench and shoots lights out, about 35% above average.
Point being, you can rarely isolate one aspect of the game and say that it was the difference. If Green had a normal game or the Y had a normal game it would have changed everything as well.
This was a game where you really hate to see a team lose. Every time the Y would make a run USU would respond. A great game with great sportsmanship and obvious respect shown to each other by the teams.
Couldn't aggree more, sunk free thows would have won the game along with hitting some shots down the stretch.
BYU has played usu away from the MC more than the aggies have played in the MC in the last 10 years, why are they saying BYU is afraid of the spectrum?
Hmm...Oh well, I'll enjoY the wYn.
This was a very good game played by two teams that deserve to be in the NCAA tournament come march!
Anything to escape the insufferable bungling of Craig Thompson and the MTN is worth it.
No more Las Vegas basketball invitationals masquerading as a conference tournament.
No more BYU/Fresno State sellout games not being televised because the clueless ones who run the MTN decided to air the SDSU/UCLA WOMEN's game instead.
No more $1.3 million payouts for an entire season for all sports combined.
I'll miss playing some of the teams in the conference, but as far as the conference is concerned, the sooner the Cougars leave the MWC behind, the better.
