Blechen was responsible for the quote you mention, not Wynn. I agree with the rest. If Utah is a middle of the pack team, they won't gain any big time recruits. The next 2 years will be huge for them to make a name for themselves in the PAC. If they come out and compete for the conference, I think that will help them gain the better recruits.

Hope they do well the first couple of years in the PAC. It sounds like it will have a bigger impact on recruiting than I thought. Getting some of the top kids from CA means they won't be going to the CA schools. I had no idea 1/3 of their players were from CA.
Would love to see them win this Saturday. SanDiego is tough and it would be a good win. I want Utah at their best on the 27th.

If you are a big Utah fan you need to check the website....or just pay attention to the pre-game intros on TV. Utah football would not exist if it wasn't for the Californians.....Rick Majerus' BBall teams were full of them!
