I watched him play in the game against Pine View... the kid is a load. He is definitely a difference maker for Hurricane. Congrats to him and good luck in the playoffs.

What isn't mentioned in the article is how nice these kids from Hurricane are. Daniel "Goma" Nielsen is a friendly, charismatic, and polite gentleman. The same can be said for Corey Edwards. In fact, that label is true for the entire football team. These are young men who anyone would love to have over in their home for dinner. To be honest, I have never met a group of athletes with such a high degree of integrity. I wish them and their coaches the best of luck.

I agree with KPED. We have met Daniel and Corey a couple of times at different events and although they play for a rival school they are very kind and friendly. Both have great character and bright future's ahead of them.

The athletes at Hurricane are so friendly, I got to meat and play some of there athletes at state for tennis last year.

Lets go Hurricane 34-21 over Juan Diego.
