In another article, it stated that Matheson nominated Heath Schuler, the person
that opposed Pelosi. So Matheson did take an offical public stance against her.
One can rightly assume that he voted for Schuler....
Bazinga, cvguy, Robert from St. George, the article says it was a
secret ballot, so there is no official record of how Matheson voted.
Good. She is consigned to the back bench of irrelevancy (which will kill her
massive ego) but still is enough of a lightning rod that she will continue to
bring her liberal cohorts and their policies into disrepute.
This result is not surprising at all, considering it was mostly moderate
Democrats who lost House seats in the last election. The hard-left
Democrats from the hard-left districts managed to keep their seats for the most
part, which is why they think Pelosi did a good job and voted to keep her as
Minority Leader. It's also no surprise that these people are so out of touch
with mainstream America.
It sounds as outlandish as people voting for matheson, Reid, Frank and others.
The power structure is such that the people have become so ignorant of reality
that they seem to desire slavery over freedom. It has been said that there
is no longer a democrat party, rather there is a democrat socialist party of
America. Sounds about right.
Stupid is as stupid does, Sir.
Matheson voted against Pelosi. He mentioned it during the campaign. However
during this short session Jim again was very silent on the whole situation but
ended up voting against her. Just like with Health Care he votes the way Utah
wants but never really stands up for it. Just votes. No talk, no action. So
now we have, in the 2nd district, a congressman who is a minority inside the
minority party. How much voice and action are we going to get out of him these
next two years? I don't get why Utah continues to do this. Maybe he will
team up with the GOP and get something done that will be positive. Let's hope
Sadly enough, this is what happens when the Democrats have nothing better to
One more example of how the new Democrats just don't get it. Also curious to
see Matheson voted for.
Who did Matheson vote for?
Oh, goody, goody, gum drops. They haven't learned a thing from the
Great job Demos,,, final nail in your coffin. Pelosi as a "highly effective
leader" ?? LOL ROF. She is definitely good at completely destroying the
country and wiping out her own party. She isn't just dumb, give her credit, she
may will be Lord of the Idiots.
I agree with Anti Government. I think this will help Republicans in the long
run. Democrats have been saying that with the sway of power in the House, the
democrats were more likely to win in 2012. I would have believed that until
this news came about. Any advantage they would have gained has just been
nullified. Pelosi is a joke, as is President Obama. With them n influential
positions, America will never fully recover.
Oh, yeah, she is a highly effective leader alright. She, along with her buddies
Harry and Barrack have led this country into the biggest mess not even the
Russians could have conceived, and hoped for. So, with 150 voting to keep her in
a leadership role, that's quite a few who really have no concept of reality.
Surely most of them will lose their jobs in 2012.
I'm torn on Pelosi. She sure irritates my neighbors (all republicans), but I
have a feeling that, politics aside, she will be remembered as a highly
effective leader. I'll take her any day over reality television star Palin.-
As a republican I am thrilled Nancy Pelosit will continue as their leader. That will ensure they continue to be out of touch with reality. I mean
seriously, how could anyone who represents one of THE biggest wingnut extreme
districts in the entire country, San Franciso, have any grasp on what the
average American thinks. This is perfect. That being said it
demonstrates clear evidence that the democrat party has been hi-jacked by
"progressives". Of course "progressive" is just
a new name for an old cancer "socialists/marxist" etc. Some
of the democratic party used to be reasonable and there are still a few that are
moderate but they have let the ultra extremists run their party. Look no
further than the current president. His voting in the Senate was THE
most Liberal of any sitting Senator and somehow he was going to unite? All he
has done is drive a deeper wedge. He figuratively gave the republicans the bird
when he had majorities in both chambers of Congress. Now when he HAS
to work with them suddenly he is willing to work toward compromised. You and I both know what to a call a person that does that.
If the Democrats want to be taken seriously, this isn't it.
LOL. Keep up the delusion democrats. Perhaps in 2012 you'll lose another 60
seats. Maybe then, you'll finally figure it out.
Wow, they really are out of touch.
"cause they're just stuck on dumb.
