Wow! That would be so AMAZING! I hope it goes through!
How long can SLC continue to get away with their "Bait and Switch" bonding projects? They require a vote by citizens to bond one project then switch funding by voter approval to these other pork projects not even a part of the bond.
This must be criminal and fraudulent bonding by SLC or anyone who uses bonding as a means to defraud taxpayers.
I think Utahans should be very proud of all the national interest people are taking in Salt Lake City.
Bravo. As long as it doesn't use public money, this would be an incredible project. When recent Broadway shows have come to Salt Lake we haven't been able to get tickets due to high demand.
It seems to me a waste to remove a serviceable piece of our urban fabric to build a new building when just across the street is vacant ground just begging for development. Obviously there are economies to this proposal relating to property assemblage, common lobby area and likely parking in the regent garage, but I'd love to see all four corners of that intersection developed before we start replacing entirely serviceable elements.
The more development the better as far as I'm concerned. I would love to see another tower go up.
What part of this corner is not developed? The drawing shows all four points built.
