Congratulations to five great players. More importantly, five great young women. Good luck to those of you ready to take the next step and represent Utah soccer "out there!" Interesting: BYU gets two of our best...and Seattle U gets two.

It's sad but interesting that there is no representation from Mountain View on the 4A teams at any level, even the Honorable Mention. There have been
girls who were capable of making the Bruins into a competitive team over the past couple of years, but they have not been able to put it all together in
this tough Region 7 with Timpanogos, Orem and Provo so competitive, but that does not mean individual girls couldn't stand out. Let's hope that there will be equal looks at all of the teams in the future.

There are many girls that are perhaps deserving and capable, from all schools, but it really usually boils down to making it to the state finals so they see more playing time. Brighton is well represented this year, but last year it was sparse because they lost in the early round of state.
