This could be the turning point in his career. From really good role player to All-Star. I hope (and believe) he keeps it up.

Before the Heat game he had already raised his PPG, APG, RPG and FG%. Millsap is a beast, I love watching him play. It'll be interesting to see what Sloan does when Okur comes back!

What happened to all the experts who were ambushing me for saying to get rid of Boozer and that Milsap was da man? LOL!

I think his nickname should be the "MILLMAN" He has the work ethic of someone who has worked in the mill. And boy did he deliver.

Ha ha, I have to say that the phrase "They got Paul Mill-slapped" is probably the best I've heard so far, that's just awesome! And when I checked the score last night, I said, I wonder if they can come back in this one. Lo and behold, they do! All I can say is this is the most fight I have seen in any team at just about any level in a long time. Especially in the NBA, you don't see this kind of fight anywhere, so this really is a spectacle for all of us to watch! Now I want to see them start of hot and lead the whole game against Atlanta. Now I wanna see if they can be completely dominant for a game. Go Jazz! Use this day off well to rest after some extremely hard-fought games!

Sap has been my favorite player since his first year of showing what a second round pick can do. Many people think that he will go back to the bench when Memo returns. He is a better player than Memo anyway. Memo's injury takes a long time to completely heal. He will be lucky this year to put in some strong bench minutes. Big Al is also superior to Okur. Okur will make the bench much stronger.

Excellent writing Jody. You had a great individual and situation to write about, and the way you did so is equally outstanding. Thanks.

just when it looked like the Jazz would be the same as they've been since losing Stockton and Malone, they go and pull out these two wins and make watching them actually entertaining again.
Milslapped will be on t-shirts and signs at the DC soon I'm sure.
And huge props to Coach Sloan, he is the best coach in the league and has just provided a huge facial to all of the Sloan haters out there. I love it!

The thing is, I can't think of a nicer player to see break out like this.

Not only is Paul the kind of person who would NEVER seek his own before his team, but I've seen Paul in Orem, cheering on d-league teammates sent down to the Flash. He is a class act.

But people shouldn't over react: Jazz fans who fail to keep the Florida wins in perspective are setting themselves up for disappointment down the road.

The Orlando Magic actually helped the Jazz win with their pouting and emotional melt down over officiating.

And were it not for the Heat's complacency, all those lucky clutch shots from Millsap, AK47 and Williams would have meant nothing.

By the way...

If Millsap truly is emerging as a force at the power forward position, the Jazz actually have a bit of a problem, given that Jefferson is actually the Jazz's starting power forward, and is temporarily playing center while Memo gets healthy.

But what a luxury to have such depth inside.

My friend who works at the mall said he saw Superman in there buying Paul Millsap underwear.

Boozer was a plague on the Jazz. He alsways came up short in a big way by not manning up to the challenges. Watching him play was almost a chore. I always wanted him out. Now he is gone and the Jazz take off. they have heart and a will to win on the road. I look to see great basketball from this team. what a pleasure to watch the teamwork and get the big wins.
