I am truly amazed that a government agency would spend that kind of money on aging Vets while at the same time Vets from two current wars are turned away and living homeless after being blown to bits in the middle east. I'm happy for these older Vets, but the VA needs to get its head on right and start treating ALL Veterans with dignity and respect. I served in the Marines 1962-1966. I am very pleased with the care that I get at SLCVAMC--I just wish it were so for all.
living there is "like living in a six-star hotel."
Less than that would be a shame. We owed a whole bunch to war veterans.
