Too bad a couple of poor decisions got the best of us, too much Andy and Findley. They have a lot of technical ability but no real heart, I'm honestly shocked that Kreis plays them, they are the exact opposite of how Kreis was as a player. If they worked a fourth as hard as Will Johnson, not only would we have won the SS but we would have rolled everyone in the playoffs. The MLS refs deserve a whole column that unfortuantely I can't write. I wish just one of the 4-7 handballs Dallas committed in the box was called, oh well. We should have know we always have to beat the other team AND the refs. Asi es la vida.
I will have to disagree Chadders. While Johnson does have only one gear, his constant effort can catch him out of position on defense and on offensive runs. He missed a few chances by not carefully timing his runs. It is the compliment of an Andy Williams with Will Johnson that allows for a strong midfield.
really?...is soccer worth crying over??
@Utefan56 - Getting blown out 47 to 7 is worth crying over. You have your likes, we have ours.
I disagree with Chadders too. Williams and Findley are very valuable to the team. I love Johnson, but his touch against Dallas was off more than a few times.
The only mistake anyone made that truly made a difference was a defender not taking the man that scored the goal for Dallas. The guy was able to just run directly into our backfield and score uncontested.
If only Espindola had put just a little air under his shot that Hartman was able to kick save. Those two moments would have changed the game, but the former truly made the difference.
