Comments about ‘MLS Cup playoffs: Galaxy beats Sounders to advance’

All three champions league teams are gone. Hate to say that it would make a difference, but the CCL doesn't seem to be doing these teams any favors.

If Dallas beats LA and kicks us out of next years CCL than maybe we can just go the Seattle route and throw the kitchen sink at the US open cup, beat a bunch of USL and second unit MLS clubs and were in. Coming in second place in the table did absolutely nothing for us unless LA wins next weekend.

It's a bit of a stretch to say Seattle was in the CCL...but I hope in the coming years the league allows for breaks in the 2nd half of the season for CCL times like they do for Superliga.
