Very cool! I think I shall attend! Sounds like a fabulous event!
Thanks to Mr. Reichel for writing this feature. D-News: please keep our local arts coverage!!
Sondheim's music isn't quite as accessible as that of some other (wonderful) Broadway composers, but his music has affected me more personally than just about anything else out there. He's a master writer - his lyrics are intelligent, touching, witty, and incisive - and his music is often hauntingly beautiful. I can't wait for this event, and a big thanks to the DN for reporting on it since this had slipped under my radar.
Thank you very much for this great coverage! We've worked hard this semester to get ready for this show. It's nice to see the local news' support.
What great arts coverage! This looks like a fantastic show! Only a hoser would miss this!
Thank you so much for the Arts coverage that you provide. It's the only reason I keep reading!
Thanks for the coverage! This show is going to be fantastic! Sondheim's music is wonderful, don't miss the concert!
I, too, would not have known about this wonderful concert without the coverage by Deseret News. Kudos to the U of U Lyric Opera company for choosing such an accessible and varied vehicle for showcasing their talent. I will plan for this exciting event. Thanks to Deseret News. Keep it coming. Looking forward to a blissful evening of Sondheim.
I am so excited about this show!!! Thank you Deseret News for covering this event! We are so happy to see that the DN values the arts. We value Mr. Reichel's input and look forward to reading his articles. Again, Thank you!
Ed Reichel rocks. Great preview for this event!
Thank you so much for advertising for the performing arts. I can't wait for the Sondheim show.
People know a lot more Sondheim than they think they do. This concert will definitely by full of recognizable songs. It's like getting a CD of the "best of" of some group you don't recognize the name to and then finding that you already know most of the songs. What's even better? This is live!
Fabulous; I refuse to miss it.
