ATTENTION, ROADIO STATIONS---
Please note that I will not be listening to your station if you are going to ruin Thanksgiving by making it Christmas! I did listen last year and by the time Christmas was here, I absolutely HATED Christmas music. I am sure a lot of people agree with me.

As you bow down to the almighty advertising dollar instead of your listeners, why don't you just play Christmas music all year?

After we finish giving thanks for our blessings, then we are ready to think about the Christmas season.

An even better thought--maybe we could start playing patriotic music on Jan 1st!

I'm listening to Christmas music on KOSY right now and LOVING it. Thanks, KOSY. And to Bearone...just turn your radio off before you blow a gasket. BAH HUMBUG!!

I love Christmas music, but let's put away the Thanksgiving leftovers first. FM100 is playing it way too early.

I do not anticipate listening to KOSY or KSFI again until January.

I wonder if anyone (radio stations) will play Stan Freberg's "GREEN CHRI$TMA$" this year. It's a very well produced parody on the "Commercialism" of the Season. Stan's father was a preacher and all
the "commercalism" offended his and his fathers
sensibilities as to the Real Meaning of the
First Christmas.

Stan's record came out in 1958 and got some advertizing agencies up-set then. Stan, himself,
made many clever ads for those very Ad agencies in Hollywood during the 1950's and 60's.

"GREEN CHRI$TMA$" has gotten "air play" over the years since the late 1950's.
