"We're going to continue to renew our efforts for a smaller, less costly and more accountable government here in Washington, D.C."
I'll believe it when I see it. What programs are you going to cut? How about some specifics instead of bumper-sticker politics. The Tea Party mantra is cut - just don't cut our programs. What are the magical reforms to the health insurance problems? Just plain old typical Republican mantra with no actual action behind the words.
How do you Tea Partiers like the fact that a 20-year House veteran is now the Speaker? Do you guys support him? He seems to be a career politician. Shouldn't he have been taken out in the primaries in Ohio? Just a thought.
Obama and his compromised govenrment got us in the mess. I like what I heard recently and here is the quote: "Compromise is for cowards". How true that is, especially in government, its pork barrel spending, and laws of compromising our rights and freedoms.
Compromise is the cowards way of not dealing with the facts and truth, its lack of spine to trust and believe in the American people and our constitution. Especially in homeland security and border controls, plane flights, and all manner that has escaped the trillion dollar empires of security.
Obama said he was forced in to being a bad president and did things in ways he did not want to do, but they were ways in the back of his mind he had predetermined to get his way.
