Comments about ‘91-year-old activist shares passion for Glen Canyon’

For every dreamer hoping to "rescue" a drowned canyon from its watery grave, there are tens of thousands who enjoy the grandeur of Lake Powell.

It's sad that we had to lose one beautiful resource to gain another, more beautiful and more useful resource.

Thanks to Katie Lee for speaking on behalf of Glen Canyon for all these years. It will eventually be restored to nature, because there's not enough precipitation in the upper basin to keep the reservoir filled.
