It will be interesting to see how much RSL attacks. I think Kreis is putting everyone on a bit.
Good point Nussdorfer.
We abandoned our attacking style last time we were in Dallas, and look what happened. While I think defense will be the focus, I don't expect us to play like Columbus did last year against us in the playoffs.
Am I missing something here? We were given two examples of how playing conservative on the road in the opening match of a 2-game series failed to pay off for Chivas and Columbus. Why do we think it will work for us? I trust Jason knows what he's doing, maybe this just a ploy? If we can escape with a draw that will be a good accomplishment.
I would dare say that we have a curse playing in Dallas. It all started in 2005 when Eddie Pope was given a red card for taking down Eddie Johnson. Replays showed it was clearly a dive.
Agreed, Nussdorfer.
Why would Kreis apologize in July for an overly defensive strategy which led to a loss in Dallas, and then go to Dallas in October with an overly defensive strategy?
On the other hand, RSL had *a lot* of road draws this year, so predicting another one isn't exactly going out on a limb.
Fact is that the match in Frisco earlier this year was going as planned until jason pulled a offensive minded double substitution late in the match resulting in giving up two late goals.
I do not expect a 4-5-1 like last time we played Dallas in Frisco, but we will come out defensive and hope to go home either tied or up a goal with a breakaway goal. "Calling Findley"
We cannot take more than a 1 goal loss. Heck, I have a game in 2 weeks I want to go to at Home Depot! and to meet a lot of you!! The thing is we need to attack these guys, the Galazy exploited them. The weather will be as good as ever this time of year with likely 70s.......Heat and Humidity should not be an issue. Dallas lost the last two games, down cycle I want to go out and get 3 points why not...4-4-2 baby
