Will be a tough game. Logan traditionally has played TV really tough. If I remember correctly they were the team to knock the Unga-Reynolds-Covey-Ashworth team out when they were juniors.

Timpview just needs to take care of business. Tough road this year.

as much as i would LOVE to see logan upset timpview, i just dont see the t birds losing this one. one of the many reasons why, WAY TOO MUCH POSTSEASON EXPERIENCE! i mean c mon they havent lost in 19 playoffs games!!?? thats insane. compared to logan who i doubt has even half the exprerience the t birds have. 4a lets be honest, if timpview loses this year to any team, it will be the biggest upset of the season. thats how favored these guys are. hope my leopards can get past what i hear is a very good westlake team!

Have seen Timpview play many times this year. Yes they are a good team, but if they don't come to play I think they can be beat. They are probably the most physical team in 4A and they just wear people down. But I have seen them make many mistakes mentally and if a good team can catch them making those mistakes they can be beat. Saying that I still think they will win a 5th Championship. If they lose it will take a great effort from a great team to beat them. I just don't think this years 4A class is as good as years past.

Logan's year is next year when they move to 3A if they cane beat JD. This year they are a bunch of jr's. So I take Timpview 52-24.

Timpview is the ONLY team in the state that would give us a real challenge. I know camp scrimmage is just scrimmage but man every year we play them at camp, it is a BATTLE (this year was no different) Theres no way their losing this year. good luck logan...u guys are going to need it. GO MINERS!! history will repeat itself in the 5a and 4a playoffs!

I'd have to disagree with you Timp on the Logan game. With all due respect to Logan, this game will not be close. This will be the only game though that we'll likely win handily.
Fan29 is right for the most part about the 5-peat except that this year's 4a is not as strong as years past.
I think this year's tourney is going to be the best one in the past 5 years.
There is more parity amongst the top teams than in the years past, especially last year.
Look at last year and we steamrolled everyone in the playoffs (as good as we were, I still think this year's team is better than last year with Covey at the helm).
Springville and Highland are better this year as well and we get them in the next 2 rounds. Highland took down not only East and Bountiful, but Lone Peak as well who may be 5A's 2nd best team.
People don't forget, Bryson McKenzie is now healthy and that will be the big diiference against the top teams.

Laffin at Scots, next year is Logans year if they beat JD. You have several teams coming back down to 3A.

@ Ligers, JD has to much power. If they loss players they just go out and get what they need. This year they beat a 4A team that went 8-1 and won regin, They just lost to a 7-3 5A team in OT 28-34 Witch they were up 28-14 in the 4th but west some how came back. Out of the 11 teams coming down to 3A I think only Logan can compete with them unless a team like wsetlake go's down to 3A.

with all due respect scott, if westlake moved down to 3a, u guys would have a new favorite for the title overnight. but no way their moving down.

I thought they'd be good-I still do, and they are. Logan, have fun it's a game, that's why you play. Just have fun!
