The revival of an old 2A rivalry. JD beat Manti for the state title in 2002, Manti beat JD in 2003. Obviously things are much different today, but maybe my Templars can pull the upset. Go Templars!

Nice trip down memory lane Manti Coug,I remember those games, but this game will be a nightmare for the Templers this Friday. JD plays discipline football and has the coaches who prepare the team for their games. Offensse wins game,but Defense wins championships...Jd is prepared to win Friday!!

this will give Manti a good argument that they can't compete with the big schools and need to move back to the 2A ranks where they can play agianst those small schools.

Short bus, just one question: How many times has 3A North Sanpete (I notice you're from Mt. Pleasant) beaten Manti since Manti stepped up to 3A?

3A is tough for Manti to compete in at a STATE level. But in our region, Manti is as good as anyone year in and year out, including Delta. North Sanpete hasn't been able to say that since Wooten was coach.

Last question: Who is North Sanpete playing in the first round of the playoffs this year?

how many times did manti beat NS when Wotten was coach? Don't know they stopped playing cause Wootens teams were to big and mean. Didn't want any of the kids getting hurt playing a big school like that. Oh and NS is playing the same team they played the last two years. Move back to 2a so that the county can here how great you are how you are the best sportmanship
