I have to say that I went to see La Boheme last night, and after reading this review I was not looking forward to it. La Boheme is my favorite opera ever, and the thought of seeing a bad production of it was upsetting. However, I must say that I completely disagree with the opinions expressed in the review. While it seemed like an off night for the tenor, the rest of the cast was phenomenal. The chemistry between the 4 male bohemians was fabulous and Mimi's death scene in Act IV was gut wrenching and heart breaking. I think the director did a wonderful job with a talented cast. The one thing I will agree with is that the conductor's tempos were INCREDIBLY slow at some points. The show would have had a bit more life if his tempos did as well.

Still 2 performances left. Go see the show for yourself and form your own opinions!
