Having just moved to Utah from the Philadelphia area, I was pleased to see this article. Going to that Renoir exhibit was on my bucket list before I left, but I didn’t get to go. The Liberty Bell's housing is new and is its third or fourth domicile. It was originally in Independence Hall. It was moved in 1976 so more people could see it during the Bicentennial. After 9-11, they started issuing tickets for Independence Hall. The security was just like at an airport. There are three locations where people from Utah, or Philly ex-pats, can get cheesesteaks, as well as Tastykakes, birch beer, and Herrs chips. It’s called DownTown Philly. I do miss the real deal–cheesteaks with sauce and mushrooms, and hoagies. Valley Forge is a treasure for history. And, yes, the Amish Country is a jewel, with the most beautiful farmland anywhere in the country. Thanks for just a peak with your article.
