Congratuolations to the Wayner baseball program. Yes, we wish you were playing football but your program in baseball just has some great inspirational stories...just wish you were playing it in spring and knocking some heads with us in the "boys of fall". Still, congrats on a great win and your school is very uplifting and great examples for 1A. Thanks.
Congrats Wayne High School. You truly have a great tradition in baseball. Still, I have to agree with the first comment. It is a great idea to switch 1A baseball to spring and make both 1A football and 1A baseball even stronger. It would be more of a true championship in baseball and wayne, panguitch, piute and others would be able to experience the great sport of football. What do you say?
Good work badgers! About Spring baseball I would have to say it's a little hard to play baseball when there's still three inches of snow on the ground. I would say we play spring football, and keep our baseball season the way it is.
Congrats Wayne! In my opinion you had to beat the three best teams to take state. I wish it was me hoisting the trophy but Wayne definately earned it. Congrats.
Great job Badgers!
