Thanks for the photos! I would love to have seen that. Lupe looks great! And David sings Contigo en la Distancia beautifully. Nice that David's Grandpa Mayorga was in the audience.

I continue to be impressed by this young man. His smile is so genuine and lights up his whole face. He seems filled with love for people. I know his father got a lot of negative comments when David was participating in American Idol, but I think David's parents have done a great job in raising this exceptional young man. Many have criticized David for not going on a mission, and perhaps he should take a break from his career and do that. But as another person stated in a comment to a different news article recently (about David singing with the Tabernacle Choir for Christmas) he is on a mission already in the positive image he displays of a young Church member, the service he gives so willingly to others, and the good example he is for other young people.

I truly hope that success will not change him in any way, that he will remain the sweet, kind, happy young man he appears to be, and that he continues to use his talents to bless others.

Best wishes, David, from a 63 year old fan :)

I honestly agree with Utah Girl, David is one of the best things that have happened to Utah and to the youth of the Church. As I said before, I wish he could serve a mission because honestly I dont think there is a good substitute to the kind of experiences a young man lives but, he is indeed already fulfilling a mission to carry his good example, his art and great sense of service throughout the world.

Best wishes, David, from a 47 year old fan!
