I heard this happen--I thought someone was having giant rocks delivered because it was noisy. This is one of the worst accidents we've had on that stretch as far as damage goes. Usually the car just goes through one fence, or hits a tree or something. He must have been going pretty fast and not paying attention for this to happen. The weather was fine at the time, and the roads really weren't wet.
I think if I lived on that side of the road I would put rebar in my fence or something. This is not the last time someone is going to crash through that fence.
Payson City needs to fix the road design before someone is killed. There are ways to keep cars on the road, they need to take immediate action on this. Because they approved a badly designed road, they are at fault as much as the person driving the car.
