The students of Pine View High School are praying for the families and students who were injured by the lightening strike, god bless you all.
Wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
This is tragic. There is no 'what if'. Coaches and game officials abide by rule book cautions designed to protect everyone at a given venue. We can only pray and wish these youngsters well.
There was a more recent death by lightning in Utah. Garry Richter from Centerville/Kaysville area was killed while on a hunting trip with brothers. I believe it was in 2007.
