so much for the powerful east team. I know they are good but 0 points really? I'm off the east train that's for sure. Really supprised me.
East is good and they have made great strides and improvement from last year, but they're not going to get past the first round of the playoffs without 2 things: 1. Running a true triple option (they're a double option with either Molisi getting the ball or Curtis keeping it with no option to pitch it), and 2. Developing a better passing game utilizing their playmakers in that passing game better.
I'm shocked Nick Sessions isn't more of a part of this team. As a sophomore he was the team MVP (Curits played varsity most of the time) with the most over-all yardage from scrimmage receiving and running. He was also the best DB on the team. I know kids athletic ability change, but Nick Sessions (no, I'm not related to him, I coached him) is getting the shaft. He's a good kid with a good attitude and should be more of a part of this team, not just someone that runs a play in every once in a while.
East won't get far into the playoffs without the ability to pass and actually pitch the ball.
Last night I figured out the key to Bountiful High football. All they need is a undefeated team to come to town, taunt them on their own home field prior to the game, throw them a bunch of slash throat signs etc and get them and their coaching staff all fired up, then the real Bountiful team will show up. Thanks East for helping us figure it out. And now you know how good that Bountiful defense is.
Good job boys, I knew you had it in ya!!
Get of your high horses... Everyone gets to have a down game. With the injuries to key players John Fakahafua and Gavin Slaten offense and defense are having struggles. You guys think because of one game you can count East out... Wait and see.
hey mansgame, dont worry no one SANE is counting u guys out. region 6 is the toughest region in the state and i dont think anyone would've been suprised if east didnt come out undefeated because of the talent and toughness every team has. all four teams coming out of region 6 in the playoffs will be dangerous. i dont know whos counting u out but u can count on us not counting u guys out. cant wait for the playoffs.

No one is counting you out. We all know that East is talented. But to use the "our key players are injured" excuse is lame. Every team is banged up this time of year. And by the way, Bountiful beat you with their main playmaker WR/FS out and a back up QB.
