I don't want to sound too negative but I thought the event was a bit disappointing. It's not the objective of Adventure Base 100 and what they were trying to do I had problem with, but I thought there wasn't enough to activities there for the number of scouts that showed up. That rope climbing course (in the photo) seemed very fun, but my boy had to wait an hour and 10 minutes to do the activity. Perhaps they just didn't expect the number of scouts to show up that did but asking boys to wait in line over an hour isn't exactly the best use of their time. They needed a bit more activities and hands-on things, and some more diverse activities, as well. "Be Prepared" is the scout motto.

I Agree with Howard Beal.

I wasn't there at the Scouting event, but
Waiting in line..........

It is disappointing. Reminds me of going to Disneyland, especially on the weekend. Waiting in line for roughly an hour for a 5 minute ride.
Just hope you're with people you love taking to and being with during all the Waiting.........

Too bad better planning isn't often considered.
