Look at the three teams BYU and Neveda has played against. Cal may have have had problems with the pistol as BYU did with AF. With alittle experience now, BYU may just win this thing. Chris may have to take his insecure feelings to different level.

"As we continue to improve our assignments, improve our fundamentals and continue to play with more of a consistent effort, I think we'll improve," Mendenhall said. "I'm not saying that will be this week nor am I saying that we'll stop or even slow down the pistol (offense). That's our hope.

Yankee Doodle,

You're right. utah hasn't played anyone yet. But the thing about being a Utah fan is we know when the big games come - we'll handle our business.

LOL.

UNLV.

Look for BYU to break out and San Jose to or San Juan, or Jose Juan to expose the Utes weak game.

With the emergence of SUSU behind WSU, Utah is the fourth best program in the state!!!

Go Utes.

Good luck BYU, even though I am a Ute fan. And please don't make sweeping generalizations about Ute fans just because of a couple of people on these boards. The same thing happens from BYU posters on the Utah boards. But seriously, good luck, because I want to play a good BYU team come November, just like you guys would rather play a good Utah team. That's what makes this rivalry fun. So let's just get over the divisive comments and remember that this is football, let's just have fun. In saying that, I still say Go Utes!

Jordan, that ship has sailed I'm afraid. The BYU team we roll in November will most certainly not be good.

They will be 1-3 after this week. They will be terrible and we will rack up our biggest blowout yet of those blue crybabies.

Well no doubt Byu's D will have their hands full, so their best D may have to be their offense. Long sustained drives with DiLuigi running the ball, mixed with in Quezada and Kariya. But for goodness sake get the frickin ball to McKay Jacobson in this game! 4 recs on the year so far? he is too good not to be getting more then that. Use the TEs as well, in the washington game I believe Wilson was fairly effective with 3 catches for 45 yards, we haven't seen much of the TEs since. As for the defense, they had better tackle alot better then they did at FSU. However if they can contain Kaepernick much like they did Locker in week 1 then I believe BYU will have a very good chance to win this game. The offense though must take advantage of a weak nevada D and move the ball effective to keep our D off the field and well rested.

GO Cougars!

You know you got trouble when Nevada is favored to win on your own field.

That's bad folks.

Game day. The red hot pistolero as arrived in sleepy happy valley. Will Jake the Kid meet him in a high noon shootout and survive. Can a banged up D keep their heads in the game and stop the silver bullet. Game day. Questions with answers to come today. The Kid will be riding into Cougar Stadium on his trusty Bronco to answer the faithful.
