I hope that Utah and BYU both really take it to UNLV and to AFA. Each of them are good teams and I'm proud to be a fan of both. Hey, Boring Guy, Live Hard, Chris B and Hedgehog . . . where are you? Oh, I see you now, posting negative comments on the BYU story that was published the same time as this one about Utah. 29 comments there and zero, zip, zilch here. What's wrong with Utah fans?
I'd like to revise and extend my remarks above. True fans of Utah (and BYU) are great but it's the idiotic haters like those mentioned above that cast the real fans in such a bad light. There, now this article has two comments :-)
@ JTP...So says the poster ripping Utah fans in his comments. You should take your own advice.
True fans of Utah don't support BYU in any way and would look to crush them in November. Pick a side and stop sitting on the fence. I could care less what the Cougs do on Saturday and will care even less next year when there is not a conference championship on the line.
As far as the article: Wide and Christopher will play a big role for the Utes this year. Go Utes!
JTP, Thanks for being so interested in the University of Utah. Apparently your attention to the situation of talent we get from Vegas is very insightful.
Oh wait, you didn't make a single comment on the actual story, you just wanted to be a troll on the Utah page like the guys that you were just complaining about. Funny and ironic, don't you think?
Otis ... Hedgehog ... BoringGuy ... WHERE ARE YOU? This is just one of a hundred examples of the FACT that there are far more people who are BYU haters than Utah fans here reading the DMN. It would be interesting to see what the SLT statistics are.
I'm actually pulling for Utah (as a BYU fan). I've said it before ... I'd rather BYU beat a 10-1 Utah team than a 3-8 Utah team in November.
Good luck Utah. 10-2 baby.

Come on, stop pretending... you're not a Ute, you're a Zoob.
How do I know? Simple, only Zoobs count:
1. Stadium size as being relevant
2. Comments on DNews articles as "exposure"
While Ute fans count:
1. Playing in January as being relevant
2. Comments on DNews articles as an opportunity to make sure one of Bronco's quest comes true:
The Quest to "educated" BYU Nation about their team.
@UteMan
Your post is well taken, thanks! Just for the record, I am a graduate of the U of U and consider myself a true fan of U of U and BYU; I have the capacity to follow both teams. No fence sitting here. I don't have to hate one in order to love the other and I certainly don't get any satisfaction from being filled with hate.
I double my football enjoyment every Saturday.
@USportsFAn
Yep,I guess it was ironic . . . didn't you think my wish for Ute success tomorrow was sincere?
