Oh my gosh, I just had a flashback to Fashion Fabrics!
Hey, yeah...I went to a farmer's market this weekend...a very small one, and there were 3 DOGS THERE!
We commented on it at the time. Why would you take your dog to a farmers market with all those people?
Or to a fabric store, either...Oh wait...
Thankyouthankyouthankyou, Anne! I love dogs, but can't stand them at the farmers market! Dogs aren't allowed into grocery stores, so why can they be at farmers markets where they can get even closer to the displays and drool all over the food? I've also seen dogs sticking their faces into strollers and barking at the terrified child. Do the owners care? Not a whit. They just say, "Oh, he won't hurt you" as the pooch tries to bite my foot off. Every other farmers market I've been to outside of Utah does not allow dogs. The health department really needs to put their foot down on this. If people want to show off their dogs, they need to do it in an appropriate venue, like a dog park.
If I liked dogs, I'd get a dog.
Your right to have a dog is fine -
IN YOUR HOUSE,
IN YOUR YARD.
NOT in shared PUBLIC places!!!
It's like being naked.
Do what you want in private,
but I don't want to see in public places.
Is that so wrong?
