utah state will probably keep this game much closer than the 'experts' think. USU has a great team, but not much depth. They should keep it close through the first half, but expect a 2 TD margin at the end of the game in favor of the sooners.

Of course, this is the opening game for both teams, and that can always lead to some surprises, untimely errors, etc., so USU has a chance if they minimize their errors and take advantage of any major mistakes by the sooners.

USU has a great defensive coach, so dont expect a blow out. Prediction:
34 sooners
17 aggies

Come on Aggies... miracles can happen!

Pulling for Utah State but really it won't be close. I just hope for anything under a 28 point loss.

I have money on Sooners 31 Ags 16 (with Borel getting our only TD and Caldwell's foot getting us 3 field goals and a PAT) But I will be happy if USU can stay with in 20. I thought about dropping $10 on the off chance we pull the upset and making some serious cash.

For being "huge" underdogs and being down only a touchdown at end of 3rd quarter is unexpected. But OU could unleash the beast in the 4th and make that 35 point win happen. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a close finish.

Early in the 4th quarter, Sooners lead 31-24. USU has more yards at this point and the stats are pretty even.

USU played Oklahoma very well a 7 point loss at the No. 7 team in the country is not too shabby. 420 yards (USU) to 411 (OU) shows the score wasn't a fluke. Good hard fought game.

Nice Job USU well done.

Congrats to USU for a great game. I am not a believer in "moral" victories, but if there ever was a team that needed a good game, USU is it - and they had a great game and I think it will do wonders for their confidence!

Should set the table for a very competitive season.

Game 31-24 for OU; Not too shabby for the Aggies. Especially for a team that critics say can't compete against "true" division I teams. Just look at the vegas odds too tell you that no one would have thought this game would have been serpated by 1 touchdown only. A few blown opportunities and mistakes in the game are the difference between a close game and an upset. Now take this game and build off of it. Go Aggies!
