"Politics as usual" might indicate that -- but this is a different year. Utahns are going to wake up.
We're not going to put up with a GOP that elects people like Mike Lee and Jason Chaffetz to represent us.
We're going to think for ourselves and vote the person, not the party. Sam Granato for Senate and Karen Hyer for the 3rd Congressional District!

I would say it's the old GOP.
Question: Is the Tea Party the new GOP?
My Answer: No — I am a lifelong fairly conservative Republican and I never have participated as a protesting sign carrying tea partier. My impression is those tea partiers, who also typically vote Republican, are a small minority in Republican circles. There is no way the total number of tea party demonstrators even come close to the total number of registered Republican voters in this country.
