Kind of ironic, considering how many people here in Utah think all renewable energy is a socialist plot and/or total baloney.

Dear Cedarite: What a silly comment.

Utahns are all for renewable energy. We just believe that ALL energy sources should be utilized and developed--NOT JUST SO-CALLED GREEN SOURCES.

I think this is all really great and I say let's go full steam ahead. We also need to continue to explore for oil and natural gas. We need all energy sources in order to be secure and independent.

Cats, your point would be made if you didn't 'shout' it with caps...
or give one example to support your claim.

Utah does not support green energy sources. Only more of the same.

And yet, we have examples of green energy in other countries.

Btw, that was in PAYERNE, Switzerland.

America is falling behind.

People don't want to hear it, but most of the solutions for the problems of fossil fuel depletion will come not from our laboratories, but from our museums and history books. Rather than find abundant new sources of energy to squander in the manner in which we've become accustomed, we will relearn what our grandparents knew about getting by with a lot less of it.

American First

I find it funny when green zealots talk about how Americans should learn to live with less like our grand parents, when the increase in energy use is mainly due to population increase from illegal immigration which these same people support. Not two words are uttered by these "greenies" about the damage foreign nationals illegally in the United States are doing to the environment. The inconsistency of the progressive agenda is mind boggling and aggravating. Take it from a Californian...the "green" agenda is poisoned green kool-aid, we need common sense, diversified energy solutions which include oil and gas and don't come at the expense of our freedom and liberty!

Immigration is the cause for...

global warming?

What America needs is a renewable energy source.

Not an energy source that can spill, burn, or still be radioactive 1 million years from now.

HA HA! Whatever the pet project of the day is for right-wing nuts, that is always the 'cause of all the worlds ills... now it's illegal immigrants causing global warming. CRAZY. I'm a liberal, but I don't support illegal immigration, by the way. Nor do most of the liberals I know.
