Saw the episode, and it was really funny. True, Tosh.O isn't for the faint fo heart, but is often very creative (you know surprise trust falls was hilarious and creative).
This is the worst article I've ever seen printed. It informed me of nothing, but it did remind me of two sad facts: (1) I no longer get to watch Tosh.0 since Comcast took Comedy Central off my basic cable package last month; and (2) Somehow a guy named Archuleta is famous for having a level of talent that used to only be found at State Fairs and high school talent contests.
Holy Cow Scott!!!
Lighten up.
You're offened with some humor?
Learn to laugh at ourselves.
It's a sign of maturity.
Only little kids in the playgoround want to pick a fight with someone who snickers at them.
Laugh, and the world laughs WITH you (not AT you).
or else who's to say What's next?
Calling a FATWA for editorial cartoons with Joseph Smith?!!
Pierce has hit the mark this time. Celebrities need to recognize that they are role models for millions of impressionable youth, and they should act accordingly.
There was a time in this Country when an up and coming singer would never have dreamed of appearing on such a vulgar, profane abomination.
It is sad to see so many comments which seek to excuse this trash because an isolated segment of the population gets a few laughs out of it. With attitudes such as this, it is no wonder that so many fear that western society is rapidly approaching its nadir.
Love Tosh.O! People need to stop being so sensitive. Also, the head coach at 'Bama is not "Lou" Saban, its Nick. Just sayin.
Pierce, get a life. Tosh is about as irreverent as can be...mixed with a sprinkle of shock value. So what if he made light of David A or Mormons in general; he's an equal opportunity offender...obviously you live in a glass house. If you detest him so, then don't watch him and please refrain from criticizing him..your opinions appears to be very one sided and slanted to righteous indignation. You sir, make anyone interested in decency and mormonism run the other way. Remove that rod that is stuck up your back.
Seriously? I mean really?! This BUGS you? He's a normal 20-something who just happens to be a singer and LDS. Wanna guess how many LDS 20s LOVE Tosh-O? Come by BYU in Provo or Idaho sometime and see. These are great kids too. Tosh is a little crass, yes, but he's not a Mormon-Hater. Lighten up and stop being so over-sensitive. A joke about polygamy? Boy, that's a new one. Who cares already? That's the least of the jokes that could be made about us. We're peculiar, remember? Don't make us wimps too. P.S. I'm in my 40s.
It's like they've been saying in the news about BYU going independent in football. EXPOSURE. If your livelihood depends on people knowing who you are, which is true for young Achuleta, then you do what it takes. Never caring myself, I've never heard him sing a song, but since he is Mormon, I read this article. I guess that's a smidgen of success when it comes to exposure for this young man. But I doubt I'll ever hear one of his songs, and I wouldn't know it if I did.
Tosh oh tosh...your typical kinda lanky guy.
